By , About.com Guide

This recipe is perfect for a large crowd since there is such a variety of beef and sausage. Remember that you can mix and match to your liking. If you prefer a different type of sausage, or would like to add chicken or lamb to the recipe, by all means, do so.

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 porterhouse steak, sliced 1 inch thick
  • beef flank steak, about 1 pound, sliced 1 inch thick

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons fresh oregano, chopped finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Preparation:

Prepare meat and place into a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour onto meat. Coat meat with marinade, cover and place in refrigerator for 6 hours. Preheat grill for medium heat. Remove meat from bowl and discard marinade. Place meat on grill. Cook flank steak for 18-20 minutes, 12-15 minutes for the porterhouse and rib-eye steaks, and 3-5 minutes for the sausages. Move meat to cooler part of grill and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving.
