Burning Tomato Barbecue Sauce

This tomato based barbecue sauce has a lot of Louisiana-style hot sauce that gives it a lot of heat. You can adjust that hotness to how you like it.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Louisiana style hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
