This is a thick, sweet kind of barbecue sauce that is perfect for chicken and even smoked BBQ Ribs.

Yield: Makes about 3 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 15-ounce can whole, pitted plums
- 1 6-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
Heat butter in a large saucepan. Add chopped onion and saute until translucent. Meanwhile pour plums with syrup into a blender. Process until smooth. Pour into sauce pan with all other ingredients. Heat to a low boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Sauce should be thick.
