Finding your Way

My goal in administering this site is to help you find the information you need to be a great backyard cook. Whether you are a weekend griller, a hardcore barbecuer or an indoor cook, I want you to know all the tricks of the trade to do it right. So let me tell you about what I have to offer.

Recipes: First of all there is a constantly growing collection of recipes. Currently there are more than 250 recipes in my collection ranging from steaks to ribs to rubs to vegetables. If you can cook it on a grill or in a smoker I probably have a recipe for it. If there is a specific recipe that you can't find I suggest you post a message on the Bulletin Board.

Articles: There are also more then 100 feature articles on every subject from steaks to whole hog. I try to address every issue I can think of. You will find these articles organized into categories. If you have an idea of something I need to add please let me know.

Netlinks: You will find hundreds of links to recipes, grills, sauces, and more. If there is a barbecue or grilling related site on the internet you will find it here.

Chat: You can meet other barbecue & grilling enthusiasts in the chat room. You can find the chat room schedule on the events calendar. I hope to bump into you there. Come with your questions and ideas or just hang out.

Bulletin Board: The place to get answers, ideas, recipes and all kinds of opinion is on the Bulletin Board. On the top navigation it is labeled "forums". To post messages on the board you will need to register.

On the top of every page you will find a navigation section that will direct you through my site and About.com. At the bottom of feature articles you will find additional navigation aids to help you find your way.
