The Bottom Line

All around this is the best grill on the market for it's price. Take care of it and a Weber Gas Grill will last you for decades and give you the versatility you need to grill most anything you can think of. The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids. People who own Weber grills swear by them and always buy Weber.

Guide Review - Weber Genesis Silver B - Gas Grill Review

This unit has been replaced by the Weber Spirit E-310.

Weber makes the most recognized, durable, and useful gas grills on the market. The Weber Genesis Silver Series represents a high quality grill for a lower price than Weber’s fancier models. This gas grill will get you through most anything you want to grill with very even heating, high temperatures, and a large grilling surface.

While a price around $550 might seem excessive, this grill delivers a very solid construction, attractive appearance and great grilling. With a limited lifetime warranty you should be able to keep this grill burning for many years to come. As with any grill you will need to take care of it, but this is one grill you won’t end up throwing out in a couple of years.

You should remember that this is a relatively small grill that doesn't have much in the way of features or power. While the quality and support are excellent you are paying a lot for this grill so think long and hard about what you really want. There are a lot of grills for this price that are larger and come with more standard features that this one just doesn't have.
