Advice re: PGS Pacific Gas Specialties?

"I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am looking for a grill between $700 and $1000. I have been advised by several local stores to consider a PGS model K40.

What is everyone's take on PGS?

If you can suggest alternatives, please do so. My requirements are:

good, highly variable temp control (for slow cook/fish) and also
high searing power for meats.
most even heat distribution
cooking mostly for 2 people but at times for 6-8.
rotisserie not required
side burner would be nice, but not a must-have."

I love my PGS K-40 grill. Cooks very evenly, and it is built so well, I don’t even have a cover for it — the weather doesn’t even bother it. I highly recommend it.
