From Johan Akerberg and Jesper Lindberg this sausage making book walks through all the steps and then goes on the provide recipes for serving everything from chorizo to salmon sausage. The book is beautifully photographed by Pepe Nilsson and has an impressively wide take on the world of sausage. Most all of the classic sausages are included and many interesting inventions. There is even a fantastic take on the American hot Dog, with a Thuringer Bratwurst on a Baguette with toppings of Garlic Sauerkraut and Pickled Red Onions (recipes included).

For the novice sausage maker, the lack of detailed instructions on the actual process will be frustrating and probably send them online to find a better explanation. However, the recipes really are worth the purchase of this book. Anyone serious about taking sausage making into their own hands would do well to pick up a copy and start exploring all the options presented here.
