Alabama Barbecue Chicken with White Sauce

Alabama Barbecue Chicken is traditionally grilled over a live fire with hickory wood and light seasonings. A simple coating of oil with salt and pepper. We're going to butterfly this chicken and grill it indirectly on the grill with some hickory chunks for smoke. At around 300 to 325 degrees F. it will take our whole chicken about 3 hours to cook. From the grill to the sauce to the table.

Derrick,
I recieve your emails regularly, and most of them I am willing to try. I am sure that you did not make up this recipe, and with that being said there is no way anybody from the Great State of Texas would ever make a “white” BBQ sauce. But please keep the “good” recipes coming!
