New Review: Brinkmann Vertex Sear 6-Burner Gas Grill Model# 810-3885-S

This gas grill has a truly unique feature. The top mounted infrared sear burner is modeled after professional salamander broilers that restaurants use to get the perfect steak. Of course most of these professional units have far greater power, while this one is under powered at 10,000 BTUs. Still, a nice feature and certainly capable of giving a while new take on grilled steaks. Loaded with other features, this grill breaks my primary rule, too much for too little. Even at $600USD, quality takes a back set to all the flash and features.

The quality of this grill does not hold up. Within 2 weeks of this grill started showing signs of breakdown and rusting.
Very disappointed. I contacted Brinkmann, and their response was this was normal wear and tear. I currently own a Charbroil Fully Stainless Steal – 5 years old. No rust showing.
Brinkmann has a quality control problem they do not want to address.
Suggestion, don’t buy a Brinkmann, not worth the money.
