The big winner this year in outdoor cookers at the HPBExpo was the line of Memphis Pellet Grills. This latest entry into the Pellet Grill market is pricey but excellently constructed. There are several models ranging in price from around $1,000 to $2,500. The one I have pictured runs around $2,000. What stands out about this grill is its ease of use. Designed to look and function very much like a standard gas grill this pellet cooker puts the hopper in the back with a dual auger feed that makes it practically invisible to the user. Add in a simple to use temperature control system and you have a pellet cooker that appears to be trouble free yet powerful. This cooker can run at temperatures anywhere between 180 to 650 degrees F. Low enough for barbecue, high enough for steaks.
Of course there is a lot of competition out there but with the positive press and feedback this grill is getting I believe that this could become a major player in the small but growing pellet grill market.
