BBQ Magazine

Wish there was a good magazine dedicated to barbecue? Well there is, Smoke Signals Magazine, and issue #2 just dropped. Best part is that its free and you don't even have to go to the newsstand to pick it up. Just go to Smokesignals.com and read. This issue features an interview with Mario Batali and great article on the Big 4 BBQ competitions. This online magazine is very professional and I think an impressive effort. So show the guys over at the BBQ Brethren how much you appreciate all they do for barbecue and take a look at their magazine.

I would love to print the mag but the website seems to defy my efforts. ie , change the format to make it more user friendly and skip the “website creativity”
How can I subscribe to the mag?

Nice mag. Gr8 articles, informative. Easy to navigate (just click on article for a magnified view then use arrows or keyboard to move forward or back). Just save as a favorite then change the issue number in the link to read other (upcoming or pervious issues)… kinda like subscribing. Only improvement I could suggest is adding some aroma (lol). All this is making me hungry for some smoked ribs… bye.

I agree with all the others, great idea, but impossible to read. How about making it downloadable for Adobe Digital Editions, or Calibre?

If you can’t understand the simple navigation tools provided with this magazine, how can you figure out how to use a grill?

This magazine is almost unreadable. It looks like it’s interesting but the text just wore my eyes out even at max magnification. Hope they fix it.

Hi,

If you click on any given page, it will blow up so that you should be able to read it without difficulty. Once you do, there will be navigation buttons (forward and back for pages).
Going to full screen should eliminate most reading problems.

Happy reading!

yeah, just clickon the fullscreen button on the top row of arrows etc. rest your cursor on each one to see what they do. once in fullscreen mode, rest your cursor on the +zoom button and click a couple times to blow up the page, then if you still cant read it, get off the computer!
