It's going to be on at 10pm Eastern, but I suggest yo check your local listings to make sure you don't miss it. This series promised to be the most comprehensive look at this ever produced with interviews and coverage of some of the top competitors on the circuit.

Um. TLC sent it to me in their press release. I have to admit though that I didn’t get a chance to watch the show. Hope it was good.

Competitive BBQ is something that I’ve always wanted to try and on previous Food Network type shows looked like something fun to do, meet cool people, etc. After watching the first couple of episodes of BBQ Pitmasters, no thanks! I suppose they looked for the biggest bunch of A-holes they could find to make this show interesting, but if that’s they type of people you have to deal with on a regular basis, I’ll just keep cooking for my friends and family at home.
