Tailgating at Home with Chris Lilly and Mike Golic

Tuesday September 16, 2008
According the the 2008 Weber Tailgating Study the number of Americans planning on tailgating this year has dropped from 37 percent to 28 percent. Most respondents say that the high cost of gas is keeping them home. The rising cost of tickets and food is also a contributing factor according the the survey. Another factor might just be the the NFL has imposed some new rules (that's okay, the best tailgating is at college games anyway).

So this means more fans will be staying home to watch the game. Well guess what, just because you are home doesn't mean you can't throw a tailgating party. With this in mind Kingsford has teamed up with legendary Pitmaster Chris Lilly and Football Analyst Mike Golic to help you plan a great tailgating party right at home (see their wonderful recipe suggestions below). To get you in the spirit Kingsford has teamed up with ESPN to give away an all expense paid Bowl Game Tailgating party for 8 in Orlando, FL. There are several other great prizes as well. Go to: MealsTogether.com for all the details on how to enter. While you are there, check out some great grilling tips from Champion Pitmaster Chris Lilly.

After you have filled out your contest entry come back here to check out these great recipes:
