Salmon Grilled with Fennel

Tuesday May 13, 2008
One of the challenges of grilling fish is putting the delicate meat to the intense flame. Fish can flake apart of burn easily. This easy method of grilling salmon adds a lot of flavor and makes grilling a nice salmon fillet. Take a fennel bulb, tops includes. Soak it is cold water for about an hour. Then cut the bulb into thin slices. Place these slices on a hot grill over an indirect fire. Put the salmon fillet on top, then cover with the fennel stocks. This will steam the fish a little as it grills and allow it to cook evenly and without burning the fish. So next time you want to grill some fish, try this salmon recipe.
