Jadedcat asks:

"Maybe this is a dumb question, but I have never assembled a gas grill before. I just bought a new gas grill. There is a chain with a long wire at the end with a loop on each end. It is attached with a screw to the outside of the grill & then runs up the side and the wire & excess chain are laying in the bottom of the grill. This part is not pictured or mentioned anywhere in the manual. Just wondering what it's for & where it needs to be."

The long “wire” with the loops in is a match holder. If the spark starter does not work you push a wooden match into the loop and light it, turn the gas on and stick the lighted match near the burner to light the grill. The other end of the chain goes on a screw in the body( wherever you want it so the match holder stays with the grill and you can find it when you need it.
