New Idea: Grill Charms

Monday April 21, 2008
You have half a dozen rib eye steaks to grill. Two people want them medium rare, three want them medium and one wants a medium well steak. How do you keep track of which is which? Well, inventor Leslie Haywood has come up with a stainless steel peg that you push into virtually any meat so you can sort out your grilling. You can get these charms in stamped with the usual doneness indicators (M, MR, MW, R, etc.), in spiciness symbols (for those who like a spicy piece of chicken or for those who don't) or in generic charms (like sailboats, etc.). From all accounts these serrated charms stick well into meats so you won't have to worry about loosing them.

A set of 6 charms runs $19.95. You can also order individual charms for $4.00 a piece. You can order them at: Grill Charms
