I will be the owner of a new Weber Genesis Gold C
After being told that I could not get a dime off of the scratched, dented floor model Ducane grill at HD, I told them to keep it. When they offered me the floor model I thought maybe I could get a good deal. When I asked about a deal they offered it at regular price, period. Told them that my choice is now crystal clear, not only will I not buy it but I wont be buying any other grill or grill part there either.
Amazon offers the grill at a good price with one penny shipping and no tax. Then they give you a free 'Command of the Grill' cookbook AND a free Weber grill cover! Plus I got the grill light and all the extras are shipping for free. So I saved nearly 120 dollars and am getting a grill that HD did not have in stock. If you like fuzzy math you could say that with the savings the grill really cost me 530 dollars. Which is only 30 dollars over my target price of 500.
Only downside is it wont be here till June 24-26.
After looking at many grills I feel confident in Weber and am willing to change my grilling habits as well as making extra room for for a larger grill. With the money I saved Im gonna get one of those E-Z Que Cradle Rotisseries for 120 bucks.
