DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY THE JENN AIRE. Untill you find out that it is actually made by Maytag. Lowes has [paid to use the name and is seling POS grills at a high price under the name. Get consumer reviews on this and other products first.

The Lowes one is OK but not as good as my old trusty gas Weber. They also cannot be converted to natural gas. Many cheaper grills can do this. Very poor.

My push handle broke off the first year but otherwise I’d rate this grill better than the 2 webers I’ve owned and a Ducane. I do want to convert mine to natural gas however. A previous poster sid this cannot be done. True?
Thanks

I think this grill has major design flaws that we are understanding now that we’ve had it for almost a year- the tray under the burners is almost flat and only about an inch under the burners- grease stays where it is and flares up constantly- also the covers for the burners are barely pitched so the drippings stay there and flare up constantly- even when we just cleaned it. ALso the front of the grill cover lets the rain go directly into the removalble wide and barely tall drip pan which is very tricky to clean out because all the stuff is floating precariously and spilling off the edges onto your ground surface while you try to get it all to fall into a bag- and there is no way to put something disposable into it- so you do the large amount of paper towels to clean up all the stcking grease. I think the difference between the webber and this jenn- aire has everything to do with their deep angled pan under the burners, their sharply angeld burner covers, and water not collecting in the disposable drip pan from just the lightest sprinkle of rain…. We’re giving our jenn aire away for free- it’s that dissapointing.

The Jenn Aire Grill is very durable. I shopped grills for about 6 months and decided onn the Jenn Aire because…
Burners are cast bronze
Grate is solid SS rods
Hood has no open seams or edges, great job on finishing edges, makes it easy to clean
All screws and hardware are SS
Can’t find any parts that might rust or chip
I would buy the grill again.

Jenn Aire grills are great, no problems. But both Jenn Aire and Kitchenaid are owned by Whirlpool

I wouldn’t take a Jenn-Air for free! It is a piece of junk–design flaws galore–no customer service–
i’m ready to give mine away for free as well!

I am also leaning toward the dont touch the jenn aire. I belived the hype and bought model 720-0339, that is the island 3 section $1500 unit, the stainless steel grid are disengrating with each time the burners are turned on. I sent a photo to jenn aire and they have not replied. They are listed as lifetime warranty, just didnt know the life time is 3 years.
