"I recieved my issue of Consumer Reports today and as luck would have it, they have a section devoted to gas grills! They rated 44 grills ranging in size from 160 sq in to 600+ and many in-between. The top 10 were as follows (for the midsize grills):

1) Vermont Castings- $400
2) Broilmaster- $1,000
3) Kenmore- $450
4) Vermont Castings- $630
5) Char Broil Advantage Series- $270
6) Weber Genesis Silver B- $450
7) TEC Patio II- $1,500
8) Thermos Stainless- $300
9) BBQ Grillware- $200
10) Kenmore- $200
