Holland vs. Weber

Friday April 7, 2006
thewoj1 Writes:

"Looking for a new grill to replace the aging Sunbeam (purchased when we were just starting out), and to augment the Weber charcoal kettle.

I was leaning towards a new Weber Summit Gold B4, but after seeing the Holland Legacy LS, I'm now wondering. Any experience out there with the Holland? The owner of the store says he'll cook lunch for me this weekend, and that I'll be sold with the taste. I think the concept is great, but I'm concerned about time and sear marks (I need to have the nice "criss-cross" design on my meat). Also, Derrick says you can adjust the temperature on the Holland with the smoke stacks, but I just couldn't see how this could be done - there was not adjustment mechanism or anything."
