Sante Fe Charcoal grill by Charbroil?

Tuesday February 21, 2006
dfalcon Writes:

"Has anyone used this grill? I am thinking of buying this one but can't find any reviews.

Typically I cook with Royal Oak lump or Kingsford briqs and I do everything from whole chicken and turkey, to hot dogs and burgers. Right now I am using an offset smoker, by Charbroil. But the Sante Fe's ability to raise and lower the charcoal try is apealing. Plus I need more grill space."

cook’s illustrated rated it tops and a best buy. their only concern was a need to keep it tightened up regularly.

Simply the best grill I’ve ever used or been around.

Easy to control temp, big door to add chips or coal if needed. Four vents to control air flow. Ability to raise or lower charcoal to control heat.
