Beefeater.....Good!

"I recently purchased a Beefeater Discoverey Plus 5 burner from Beefeaterbarbaques.com and am very happy with it. First let me say that it was a real pleasure buying from Beefeaterbarbaques.com, and now my review for the grill.

This thing is built like a brick house. I would like to thank "YODA" a.k.a bbqbandit for the guidence on putting this battleship together. the instructions don't tell you very much so his input was very helpful. The main thing is be patient and look at the pictures closely. Assembly time for me,my wife, and my inquisitive german sheppard was 3 hours.

The WOW factor on this grill is great . I had the neighborhood over to christen the Grill and to show it off. Which is good and bad; I now have a new status in the neighborhood, but it makes such good food they did not want to leave. ( I all most had to sick the dogs on them).

It's big so it does take some time to heat up. ( the first night I made Beef fajitas on it and they were the best ever. the meat cooked evenly and had good grill marks on it. (made me feel like I was cooking in a restaurant again). Total heating time and Cooking Time was about 55 minutes (high heat) and It used about 1 gallon of propane.

The second day we did the big party. I had 16 large burgers cooking on it (at one time)and Bacon on the grill plate and it handled it like champ. While waiting for it to heat up, I used the side burner to cook some onion rings (awsome).

The clean up on the grill is very easy. after each cooking, I remove the grills and hose them in the sink and I ready to play again. The griddle cleans even easier. Stainless is also very easy to clean even around the side burner. Also all of the Stainless is 304. It also comes with a very nice cover.

All in all this is great Grill and I am very happy. For about the same price of webber Geniss platinum; I got a grill twice the size, very well made, and cast iron grates. My only complaints on this grill are; the height of the roasting hood does not allow me to do beer can chicken, the doors of the grill does not come with hinges, and lastly those damn instruction. ...........oh yeah, and the german sheppard that would not get off the blanket that I was assmblying it on.

Bottom line, I bought this for about the same price as the grills at the box store and I am sure its going to last a lot longer those would have. if your in the market for grill talk to bbqbandit and get price on one of these."
