What to buy

"I'm in the market for a new grill to be propane hooked up to our 500 gallon underground tank. So, I'm looking at the Kirkland brand from Costco but have an open mind. My question: Is there an advantage to stainless steel grates over cast iron? Is one easier to clean than the other? Does one give better cooking results than the other? It will live outside in salt sea air. Any ideas on what will hold up better in that environment? Oh yeah, it rains alot here too! Any help greatly appreciated."
