Pink bones

"I know I have asked this question about chicken before. And I know it is normal for the meat to turn a pinkish color when we smoke it. But I did some ribs this weekend and they looked real pink...They were real good, and everyone eat them.

I smoked them for 6 hrs. I know some of you guys smoke ribs with the 3-2-1 method. Would that help them not look so pink?"
