This information will not help you as I am 3 years too late…BUT, I will respond for anyone else who might be curious.
Cookshack makes electric smokers for residential and commercial use. They use an electric heating element to smoke small amounts of wood in a sealed enclosure. They are by far, the most “idiot proof” smokers available. They do not require a water pan as the unit seals in the moisture of the meat. Each smoke requires only 2-8 OUNCES of wood! There is an online forum which rivals that of the Webber Smokey Mountain ( http://forum.cookshack.com/groupee ). It is a wealth of information for those considering this purchase. Feel free to stop by and ask any questions.
