Ever smoke with locust wood

"I have been wondering why I've never heard of anyone smoking with locust wood. It is a hard wood. Anyone have knowledge of this?"

I have smoked with black locust on many occasions and it works great. While I prefer the flavor of hickory or mesquite, locust will actually last much longer. It’s also an outstanding fireplace wood.
