Polder Broke?

Monday March 31, 2003
JJERRYJOHNSO Writes:

"My Polder thermometer is always reading HI no matter if I stick it into ice water or a completely cooked chicken. This thermometer is not that old, so is does not make scense that it would be wore out. Any ideas/suggestions?"

Hi.

I had the same problem. I’m pretty sure it’s a bad wire/probe. Don’t buy a new thermometer like I did. Just replace the probe.

I realize this reply is 3 years after the initial response, but I figure we’re not the only two who’ve had this problem or will in the future. :)
