"Does anyone know anything about the First Avenue grill by Char Broil. I just saw it at Costco for $389. It's all stainless, with 43000 btus. It'a beauty but I'm not sure how it performs."

I’m wondering the same thing about this grill. It looks great, I can compare it to the Kenmore 882 sq. inch grill but need to know how it performs.

(2) Don says:

My First Avenue is about 3 years old and the interior parts are wasted. Burners, grids and splash things over the burners. Cooking grids have rursted almost all the way thru and the burners are melting and breaking up. When not in use it is covered and protected from the elements so this shouldn’t happen. Flames from the burner are always twice as big in the back of the grill for some reason. We never could adjust it. Don’t buy. I can not get new parts.

Mine is 3 years old and is the same piece of crap as Don’s. Nice deck ornament, though.

These other gents have nailed it. I’d like to dump my $300.00 3yr old Costco stainless anchor in somebody’s front yard. What a rip-off. I’m thinking my next purchase will be a Weber or a Coleman.
