Any info about Straubelstone grills?

"I've started looking for a new grill, and would like a stainless steel grill. I saw an ad in the local paper for a Straubelstone grill. It seems to be a great price, and a nice looking grill, but can't find any info about it except from the company web site. None of the review sites, or epinions, etc have ever heard of them. Are they built well, and does the company stand behind them? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!"

I have a Straubelstone grills and was happy with for the first year. When i bought mine it was meant to come with a 10 year warranty (purchased at Lowe’s). shortly after my purchase Lowe’s stopped carrying these grills and the warranty is out the window! check the prices on replacement parts!!

I know of three. I am the owner of one. we ave all had the same problems. These are the biggest pieces of ^%$ on the grill market. Hot and cold spots, box rots out in two years, costly parts, never gets very hot. BUY ANYTHING ELSE>

I agree with the above! Mine fell apart as I was just rolling it out to the curb! Bottom completely rotted out the only thing left is the stainless and the grates! It’s been under a cover..with ventilation. Never left out in the rain. My first grill last 20 yrs. Will never buy from a discount store. Never rec’d a reply when I contacted company regarding problems I don’t know how they are still in business!

I just went on their website..no longer sell grills. I guess they took their money and ran. Hope too many people didn’t lose out like us!

Um… I’ve had an Executive by Straubelstone and it’s been GREAT! I’ve had no problems with it. Mine is all stainless steel and has had NONE of the corrosion problems that others have. If you can’t find parts for it, you’re not looking very hard. They’re all over the ‘net. I’ve never had to buy any, but, when I Googled it, I found everything that it would need. This has been a GREAT grill for 5 years.

I’ve read some of the comments from some previous owners of a StraubelStone and I must say that I am VERY pleased with my StraubelSTone grill. I have had it for 7 years now and even though I found out that StraubelStone went out of business I’ve had no problem finding the parts and service I needed. I found out that G & G Grills has all the parts for my grill and their customer service and knowledge was excellent. Its the best grill I have ever had and I’m not a spring chicken these days and even I can grill on my Straubelstone

I have read many of the comments about problems with a Straublestone grill and in finding parts, and never have I had that problem. All I had to do was google straubelstone grill parts and many suppliers came up. I got my grill before the compnay went out of business and I have been satified with mine and use it 4 or 5 times every week. I got mine maybe 10 years ago and have only had to replace the burners and the plate never had a problem. I bought my parts through G and G Grill Parts and they were very helpful. I would recommend them to everybody and I think I will keep my grill going for another 10 years, the grill is wonderful.

I’ve had my Straublestone for 6 years and it’s been great. I hve replaced the burners but I use my grill at least twice a week and the rest is holding up great.
I’ve ordered my parts from G&G grills and received great service and availability. In 30 years it’s the best grill i’ve owned.

I would never own anything but a Straublestone Grill. Had someone give me another brand for Christmas year before last and sold it in a garage sell,as my strauble had been nothing but great in the 10 yrs. I have had it, and company I have found to get replacement parts (what few I have needed) have been nothing but great in helping and getting parts to me asap.

I’ve had the Grill for 5 years and have had no issues with the performance. The grill has been outside with cover and works great.I was just curious about part replacements and had no problem finding parts but will say a little pricey but still cheaper than buying another grill.
